PROBATE ADMINISTRATION

Probate is a process  that validates a will (if one exists), pays debts and distributes a deceased person's assets. During this court-supervised process, the estate administrator or executor handles the financial and tax issues, inventories all assets and investments, and makes the necessary distributions to the beneficiaries.
